Snoop Dogg Once Launched His Own Line of Lacy Men’s Underwear. It Was Brief.

A silent chapter in the Doggfather’s fashion portfolio: satin, lace, and the art of unspoken ambition.

In 2014, Snoop Dogg quietly ventured into the competitive and often under-embellished world of men’s intimate apparel. The line, known as “Snoop Dogg Board Company Collection,” was part of a limited collaboration with Swedish designer Emil Kozak and featured, among other things, satin boxer briefs adorned with paisley patterns, gold detailing, and lace trim. The emphasis was not on subtlety.

The launch was part of a broader, and largely overlooked, lifestyle initiative that included snowboards, reversible bomber jackets, and scented candles—none of which seemed to have a strong thematic tether to each other beyond Snoop’s personal endorsement and a collective sense of curiosity. The underwear, however, stood out. Bold in both aesthetics and elasticity, they embraced what can only be described as a genre-defiant intersection of streetwear and Victorian boudoir.

It is not clear how many units were sold, or if any were worn (by Snoop or the general public), but the line faded into relative obscurity almost immediately. No paparazzi photos, no red carpet sightings, no follow-up collaborations with Calvin Klein were ever documented. Like many things Snoop touches, it existed defiantly for just long enough to be real before receding into the Doggpound of history.

The undergarments may have been brief in tenure, but what they represented was not insignificant. They were a statement: that lace trims and gangster rap can cohabitate in the same drawer. That satin and swagger are not mutually exclusive. And that Snoop Dogg, unbothered by conventional brand trajectories, remains the only man confident enough to launch couture boxer briefs while refusing to talk about them ever again.

The collection has since become something of a myth among deep-diving fashion historians and devoted Snoopologists. A pair surfaced on an auction site in 2019, mislabeled as “luxury sleep gear.” The winning bid was $28.

To this day, there exists no formal statement from Snoop regarding why he felt the world needed paisley-laced satin underwear. And perhaps that silence is louder than any press release could ever be.
